Obituary of James H. Silvey, Jr.

James Harry Silvey, Jr. age 52, of Norristown, PA, formerly of Aston, PA, died on Friday, December 9, 2022.  Jim was born on January 24, 1970 in Media, PA.  Jim was a graduate of Chichester High School, Class of 1987 and had a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from Temple University, Class of 1993. He was employed with several architectural firms in the Philadelphia area.  Jim most recently was employed with Bernardin Associates of Philadelphia.

Jim traveled through Europe and the U.S. riding a motorcycle when possible. He rode with Philadelphia Professional Motorcycle Club.  He enjoyed snowboarding in New England, surfing at the Jersey shore, long distance bike riding and re-building classic motorcycles. Jim also enjoyed archery hunting in PA.

Visitation: Friday, December 16^th from 6:00-8:00PM at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte. 352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063, and Saturday, December 17^th from 9:30-10:15AM at the Church of St. John Fisher, 4225 Chichester Ave., Boothwyn, PA 19061.

Funeral Mass: Saturday, December 17^th at 10:30AM at the Church of St. John Fisher.

Interment: Mt. Hope Cemetery.
