Obituary of Robert L. Wilson

Robert “Bob” Leroy Wilson, entered through the golden gates on December 21, 2022, age 63, of Bear, Delaware formerly of Springfield, PA. Bob was passionate about his job as an accountant and  basketball referee for the PIAA since 1986.  He volunteered as a referee for the Special Olympics, played AAA Baseball for the Baltimore Orioles. He was a Philadelphia Flyers, Phillies and Eagles fan.  He enjoyed working in the yard, doting on his cats and loved rock music.

Bob was predeceased by his father, William Robert Wilson, baby brother Paul Wilson, Aunt Clara E. Santacroce and Uncle Earl Friday.

Survivors:

He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Anna K. (Hladasz) Wilson, Mother, Lucetta Mae (Friday) Wilson, Sister, Cheryl Ann Wilms. Also survived by, nieces and nephews: Steven, Allison, Melissa, Ashley and many relatives and friends.

Visitation: Wednesday, January 4^th after 10:30AM at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063.

Funeral Service: Wednesday, January 4^th at 11:30AM at the funeral home.

Interment: Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, PA.
