Almost six months now Doris you are dearly missed, your listening ear and your comfortable nature. I have seen quite a few dogs on the loose this year, one I was able to contact police and then a rescue group accompanied them to take in the lost pup at a park. A few others seen while driving, one wandering, others running determinedly- hopefully for their homes. I tend to think of you in these moments, your love and adoration for these gentle angels. Please continue to watch out for us from up above.
So very sorry to hear of Doris' passing. My late Mother, Nancy Donohue, was a good friend of hers growing up.They talked for hours on the phone and laughed all the time. I met Doris in person years ago when I drove my Mom to her house. What a lovely lady she was. We stayed in contact with each other through facebook and messager. I will miss writing to her. She amazed me with her computer skills. Her mind was so sharp. Rest well sweet lady. I know in my heart you are in heaven. You are with your husband Bob who you missed so terribly. You even got to laugh again with my Mom. May she Rest in Gods' Glory. And may her memory be a blessing. Prayers going up for all of you in this time of need. You were blessed to have had such a loving Mother and GrandMother and Great-Grandmother. This I know. Much Love to all.
My deepest condolences to all who knew Doris, but most especially to her dear sons and their families. I carry your mother's heart with me. "I carry it mine" to quote the great poet, e.e. comings. You were her greatest source of pride. She spoke of you all with much gratitude as you offered her assistance and support. I thank you all for allowing me to accompany you on this challenging journey. I will cherish your mother's memory for all of my days. Please know that I am here with prayer, support and encouragement. After my husband died, your mother assured me that we would one day laugh again. I offer that same assurance to you all now, in honor, remembrance and gratitude for the treasured friendship that she and I shared.

Doris was a very dear lady who always made my day when she called me "Charo" on the FB! You were a lucky family to have had her all these years and I am sending you all peace & love. Rest peacefully Dear Doris, you will be missed! xoxo
My sincerest condolences to Doris' family, she was a dear and true friend of my late grandmother Nancy Donohue. I got to correspond with Doris over the last couple of years and know her better, she had such a light-hearted and funny nature, and loved and appreciated her family. She also was a very strong woman who triumphed over a lot in her life. She told me her favorite thing in nature were the Northern Lights. She adored pets especially her dogs, and recognized how much love they show their families unconditionally. I will miss our exchanges very much. May she rest peacefully in God's awesome glory. Prayers for all who knew and were loved by Doris.
