Obituary of Dolores A. Barr

Dolores A. (Cassidy) Barr, age 96, of Media, PA, formerly of Philadelphia, PA, died on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at Sunrise of Granite Run.

Dolores was a graduate of West Catholic High School for girls. Mrs. Barr was a woman of faith and was a long time parishioner of  St. Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Church, Lenni, PA.  She was the President of the Mother's Club.

Dolores cherished spending time with her family and friends. A kind and generous person, Dolores was an inspiration to others with her courage and giving nature. She will be greatly missed and eternally remembered, by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Wife of the late Dr. Richard G. Barr; mother of the late Michael Barr.

Children: Dolores (Jim) Melsheimer, Richard J. Barr, Brian J. (Patty) Barr, Kevin A. (Kim) Barr, Mary B. (Michael) Martin, Kathleen M. (Christopher) Bering

Grandchildren: Meighan, Michael, Elizabeth, Katelyn, Michael, Brynne, Sarah, John, Dan, William

Great-Grandchildren: Cassidy, Ryan, James, Matthew, Michael, John Brian

Visitation: Friday, January 20th from 10:30-11:45AM at the Church of St. Francis De Sales, 35 New Rd., Aston, PA 19014.

Funeral Mass: Friday, January 20th at 12Noon at the Church of St. Francis De Sales.

Interment: SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
