Obituary of Hannah H. Ekas

Hannah Hepler Ekas, age 90, of Lima Estates, Media, PA, formerly of Tarentum, PA, died Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at Riddle Memorial Hospital, Media, PA. Hannah graduated from Slippery Rock University with a B.S. in Education and received an M.A. from Penn State University. She did advanced studies at Chatham College and Duke University. Mrs. Ekas taught at Deer Lakes Middle School. She was a former member of the Eastern Star and an active member of her Church. Hannah enjoyed traveling, reading, and most of all, spending time with her family and grandchildren. She is the daughter of the late Thomas and Elvina (McKee) Hepler. SURVIVORS: Husband of 63 years: Harry H. Ekas Son: Earl T.
