Bill and I went 1-12 in Bensalem School District, my deepest sympathy to the family
I enjoyed being friends with Billy since early elementary school. Always pleasant, always helpful to new kids, and above all, always a gentleman. I will miss our phone calls. Even while he was going through so much, he was offering help to others in need. Heaven is lucky to have Billy. God Bless you and your family, Billy. I know they will miss you terribly. Love always, Georgene, AKA: Gee Gee
Alicia,
I was so sorry to hear of your father's passing. He was a wonderful man and I know he has left you many cherished memories. Please know that you are in the thoughts and prayers of many. May God's tender mercies be with you and grant you comfort during this difficult time. John 11:21-26.
Your Smile was always from the heart. We had many laughs & fun field trips....Those are what I remember about you my friend.
So sorry to hear about Bill. We graduated together and he also lived close to me in Bensalem.
My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
IN HIGH SCHOOL I WAS VERY SHY BUT BILL ALWAYS TOOK TIME TO SAY HELLO AND MAKE ME FEEL BETTER. I' REALLY SORRY WE DIDN'T KEEP IN TOUCH. DELPHIA (BENSALEM CLASS OF 67
Bill and I shared quite a few memories as children together and over the past several years a few trials and tribulations. Bill always saw the bright side of things and his great sense of humor helped him overcome a lot. I will miss him.
Bill and I started a Bacharach the same day and had orientation together. He has been a good friend to me ever since. He always could make me laugh and would lend a listening ear when I felt down. He was very good and kind to the patients he took care of. Always kind and loving to all he came in contact with. I will miss you much buddy. Love ya!
My deepest sympathy to Bill's family. You all did the very best for him in his time of need. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
I knew Bill from our days at Ocean Point Health Care Center. He was a great friend, wonderful support in difficult times, a person I could always count on, and someone whose company I thoroughly enjoyed. We laughed together, cried together, and even got in trouble together. I consider it a privilege to have known and worked with him. To Bill's family - you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Bill will always hold a special place in my heart.
When I thought about how to honor Bill's life, what immediately came to me was to live joyfully. He had a way of amking me laugh, out loud! He was a trusted confidant who shared my entire life's history without judgment and often with wise counsel.
When the news of his cancer became known I began to receive calls from those he cared for and cared about. All expressed how much they loved him and how he made such a positive difference in their lives.
What all those who called had in common was, they were the recipients of love and compassion given so freely by Bill He possessed the gift of compassionate living. He did not judge. He saw God's love in everyoone - no exceptions.
I will always be grateful for the caring he bestowed upon our grandparents, my mother and brothers and sisters. He was our dear brother in so many ways. He loved us all and we love him.
He was so proud of his daughter Alicia and grandchildren. And the depth of the relationship with Joan transcends this life. Friends, so many - you could not be in his company and not want to be his friend.
He accepted painful life experiences with grace and never refused to help anyone. And, that sense of humor - wow.
So let's honor Bill by living joyfully and with compassion. I miss you dear Bill.
