Obituary of Robert P. Brauer

Robert P. Brauer, of Aston, PA,  It is with great sadness that we are announcing the passing of our loving father and beloved husband Robert Pierce Brauer. Robert passed away at the age of 91 on Thursday, December 28, 2023. He resided in Aston, Pennsylvania and was a lifelong employee of Sun Oil Refinery in Marcus Hook. He is the son of the late August Brauer and Mary Ingram Brauer. He was predeceased by his loving wife Denise of 63 years, his brother William Brauer, and his son Robert Brauer.  He is survived by his brother Walter Brauer and his five loving children: Joseph Brauer, Maryellen McLaughlin (Mike), Deborah Hagan (Alex), Denise DeRosa (Rick), Karen Fascenda (Jerry); 11 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, riding his tractor, family vacations to Ocean City Maryland, and tinkering with any electrical projects. He was the kindest, fun, loving, caring husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He looked forward to every family gathering and made life extra special for his family.  He will be deeply missed.

Visitation: Wednesday, January 3^rd from 10:00-10:45AM at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA, 19063.

Masonic Service: 10:45AM

Funeral Service: at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.

Interment: Mount Hope Cemetery, Aston, PA.
