Condolences
Dearest Pat and family, Bill and I are so sorry to hear of Mario's passing. Bill would often talk about the Navy Yard and say how much he loved working there with Mario. Mario was a really nice guy who loved his family. May he soar high with the angels and rest in peace forever.
You have the greatest dad Nicole!
I’ll always keep my treasured memory of the hug from your dad when we stopped by to see him at the navy yard! He always made us all feel special and like part of the family!! He was lucky to have a daughter like you!!! My heart goes out your mom, Vinny, and your family. Sending lots of love- ❤️ Dawn
Dear Pat and family,
Mario and his family have been in my life as long as I can remember. They lived next to us on 22nd Street since we moved there in 1951. When they moved a few blocks away, we re-met at Bonsall and Snyder.
Mario was always a great friend. He always told you exactly what you didn't want to hear - the truth.
Funny with a very dry sense of humor, Mario could put you down with a look, but much more often, could raise you up with a smile.
Seeing him at our most recent Xmas get together ( and thank you Pat for suggesting and getting that done for us) I know how much Mario appreciated seeing all his friends, and how much all of us loved seeing him.
We joke a lot about B&S, but we are all brothers - and while our blood is all different, our hearts are all the same. We love each other.
And so I offer my deepest condolences as a fellow brother of Mario - in our thoughts, our memories, our many and often-told stories and in our hearts, Mario will always live.
Love and please call me if I can help in any way,
Love, Armen
