Obituary of Doris A. Nacrelli

Doris A. (Casey) Nacrelli, age 95, of Media, PA, formerly of Chester, PA, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, February 25, 2024.

Doris started her career at Toby Farms Elementary as the school secretary and then went to Chester Upland School District working in the administration building for more than 20 years, until her retirement.

Doris was a parishioner of the Church of Our Lady of Good Councel, Ocean City, NJ.

She enjoyed needlepoint, cooking and baking her favorite dish, fudge. Doris loved to travel, but most of all, she loved spending time at her home at the beach. Doris cherished spending time with her family and adored her Kitties, Summer and Daisy.

Daughter of the late John F. and Edna F. (Martz) Casey;  Wife of 66 years to the late John Nacrelli; Mother of the late John “Jack” Nacrelli, Jr., Stephen J. Nacrelli and Kathleen C. Kinman; Sister of the late Elizabeth Wade and John Casey; Grandmother of the late Dori Nacrelli, John Nacrelli, III, and Evan Kinman.

Survivors:

Son: Terrence A. (Teresa) Nacrelli

Daughters: Nancy L. Layman and Lisa (Kevin) Valenta

Grandchildren: Colleen, Quinn, Charlie, Jessica, Matthew, Casey, Corey, Kyle, Zachary, Allison, Nathan, Erin

Great-Grandchildren: Akhaila, Tihona, Laylah, Vincent, Dominic, Mia, Matthew, Rylee, Luke, Jacob, Kaiden, Aliyaha

Also survived by nieces and nephews

Visitation:  Monday, March 4^th after 10:30AM at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte. #325) & Knowlton Rds., Media, PA 19063.

Funeral Service: Monday, March 4^th at 11:30AM at the funeral home.

Interment: Private.
