Obituary of Krishna Gurijala

Krishna Gurijala passed away on the morning April 22, 2024 at the age of 45.  He resided in Miami but grew up a DelCo native in Wallingford, PA after which he graduated from New York University (NYU) and settled in New York City before heading south to the sun and warmer weather.

He was born in West Chester, PA to Vidyasagar and Lalitha Gurijala.  He leaves behind his loving parents, his brother, Madhav, sister-in-law, Sandra, and beloved nephews and niece, Enzo, Hugo, and Roma along with a whole community of friends who were more like family than one can ever imagine.

Krishna was an avid snowboarder who loved the finer things in life including traveling with his friends to find the best snow.  He was a rabid Philly sports fan who embodied "you can take the boy out of Philly, but can't take the Philly out of the boy."

We remember his legacy at Strath Haven helping win the Pennsylvania State Championship in soccer, as a driven individual, as a "funcle" to his immediate and extended nieces and nephews, as a caring brother and brother-in-law, and as a loving son to his parents.

Krishna's wish was for everyone to enjoy life to the fullest and remember all the good times he had with each of you.

Visitation: Saturday, April 27th after 1:30PM at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063.

Family Sharing will be held at 2:00PM at the funeral home.

Interment will be private.
