Obituary of Lucy Mustico

Lucy Mustico, 96, of Wallingford, PA, and formerly of Philadelphia, PA, died Sunday, June 2, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Mustico was born and raised in Philadelphia and had been a resident of Wallingford for 65 years.

Throughout her life, Lucy never backed down from a new challenge. From earning her cosmetology license to working in a candy factory to teaching sewing at Sears, she filled her life with new people, skills, and knowledge. Lucy was a tailor for over 70 years, which included working with her husband at their tailor shop business. Whether it was a wedding, prom, or special occasion, Lucy was the first call the family made for alterations. She even made quite a few wedding dresses for her family over the years. Lucy was multi-talented with the ability to make anything from scratch, especially in the kitchen when cooking or baking. She enjoyed the outdoors, her home and her yard, and was always working to maintain its beauty. Lucy had an innovative spirit that provided wisdom and advice to her loved ones.

Mrs. Mustico was a member of the Church of St. John Chrysostom in Wallingford, PA. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and loved spending time with her family. She is the daughter of the late Querino (Carl) Pergolino and the late Adeline (Bruno) Pergolino. She was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Philip Mustico.

Visitation: Saturday, June 8th after 9:00AM at the Church of St. John Chrysostom, 617 S. Providence Rd. Wallingford, PA 19086.

Funeral Mass: Saturday, June 8th at 10:00AM at the Church of St. John Chrysostom.

Interment: SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
