Stew was the best fabricator I ever met over the 30 years I have been in the business. He never thought anything was impossible no matter what challenge you gave him and the resulting fabrication was always flawless. Not only was he a great fabricator, but more than that he was a great person to talk to. I spent more time talking to him albout things in everyday life than I would ever talk to him about fabricating parts. Stew was the greatest and they just do not make them like him anymore. I will miss our conversations even though they have been less frequent in the past years.
I hope you are riding one of your great hot rods up in heaven.
Your Friend - Tom Carney
Truly enjoyed seeing Stew at the car shows. My husband Mark is a car guy and would spend a lot of time with Stew at the shows. He was kind and very talented and made you feel welcome. Stew will be greatly missed. Our condolences to the Family and we really hope that your happy, fun and fond memories help you through this most difficult time. Ride High Stew.
Deepest sympathies to the Milby family.
Stew was a great guy. The most skilled and talented machinist being so humble in his talent.
Rest in peace Stew - you will be missed a lot.
My best, Phil
Peter and I send our sincerest sympathy to Rosie and his family. I worked with Rosie and Stew at Scott Paper Co., and we are praying for your peace and comfort at this grievous time.
What a wonderful person! Salt of the earth. Always had time for me. Never said never. He had a knack for being able to consider and to solve any mechanical problem like no other person I have known. He was always ready, willing and able to solve any problem with a smile. He was absolutely devoted to his family. I am so blessed to have known him and to have earned his friendship. I will miss him forever.
