Obituary of Gail L. Gillespie

Gail L. Gillespie, age 79, of Wallingford, PA, formerly of S.W. Philadelphia, died at home on Monday, August 26, 2024.

Gail was a graduate of John Bartram High School.  She was employed with Springfield Diagnostics in Medical Imagining for 30 years, until retiring in 2019.

Gail enjoyed traveling with her husband, Paul, to Europe and Hawaii.  She was a lover of dogs and always had a furry companion.  Most of all, Gail was devoted to her family and cherished spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Daughter of the late Thomas and Eleanor (Perry) Wilson; Sister of the late William Wilson and Eleanor Schurman.

Survivors:

Husband of 61 years: Paul Gillespie

Sons: Mark, Steven (Jill), Paul Gillespie

Grandchildren: Steven Jr. (Jenna), John (Jill), Katherine (Steven), Darien (Alex), Alexander (Lauren)

Great-Grandchildren: Layla, Steven, Blake, Jackson, Charlotte

Also survived by nieces and nephews

Visitation: Wednesday, September 4^th after 10:30AM at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063.

Funeral Service: Wednesday, September 4^th at 11:30AM at the funeral home.

Interment: Chester Rural Cemetery.
