Obituary of Nancy E. Winfree

Nancy E. McKnight Winfree, 71 Loving Mother and Grandmother Nancy E. McKnight Winfree, 71, a longtime Upland resident , died January 23, 2012. Born September 6, 1940 in Chester, PA she was the daughter of the late John and Eleanor (Cardwell) McKnight. Nancy was married to the late Thomas H. Winfree for 49 years before his death in August, 2010. She was a graduate of Chester High School and was employed by Scott Paper Company and Benjamin Balin, MD. Nancy also assisted her husband, Thomas, who was the longtime Upland Borough Tax Collector. She was a member of Our Lady of Charity Parish for 45 years. Nancy enjoyed spending time in Cape May, New Jersey, loved the beach, going to the casinos and attending her three grandsons sporting events. Most important to her was her devotion to her children and grandchildren. She was a loving and dedicated mother, grandmother and sister who will be dearly missed. Survivors Son: Thomas H.
