Obituary of Edward M. Birtwell, Jr.

Edward M. Birtwell, Jr., age 87, of Springfield, PA, formerly of Chester, PA, died suddenly on Monday, September 30, 2024.

Eddie was a 1955 graduate of Chester High School and graduated from Widener University.  He was employed as a draftsman with Monsanto Company, until his retirement.

Eddie was an avid Philadelphia Sports Fan.  He enjoyed cheering on the Eagles and Phillies.  Eddie liked to do yardwork and enjoyed a good game of golf.

Husband of the late Constance Birtwll; Son of the late Edward M.  and Dorothy B. Birtwell, Sr., Brother of the late Loretta Ersek.

Survivors:

Daughters: Jennifer Birtwell and Heather (Kevin) Manning

Granddaughter: Katrina Manning

Sister: Dot Pollock

Visitation: Thursday, October 10^th from 10:00-10:45AM at the Church of St. Francis de Sales, 35 New Rd., Aston, PA 19014.

Funeral Mass: Thursday, October 10^th at 11:00AM at the church.

Interment: St. Francis de Sales Cemetery
