Obituary of John E. Slater

John E. Slater, age 60, of Middletown Twp., Media, PA, died suddenly on December 24, 2024. He was born on July 7, 1964, and was a graduate of Countryside High School.

John was a U.S Navy Veteran, who served from 1986-1996. He was awarded the Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, the Navy Good Conduct Medal, Meritorious Unit Commendation and M-14 Rifle Marksman with a Bronze Star.

John was an aircraft mechanic for Boeing for 10 years.

John enjoyed watching old western shows, fishing, riding his motorcycle and he was a gun enthusiast. Most importantly, he cherished spending time with his family.

Son of the late Stephen J. Slater, Sr. and Sharon L. Wirhanowicz Slater; Brother of the late Stephen J.  Slater, Jr.

Wife of 37 years: Christina Slater

Daughter: Heather Slater

Son: Kyle (Paige) Slater

Grandson: Ryker Finn
