Obituary of Dorothy W. Weaver

Dorothy (Weyhmuller) Weaver, age 75, of Brookhaven, PA, died at home with her family by her side on Sunday, January 19, 2025. 

Dot was a graduate of Notre Dame High School, Class of 1966 in Moylan, PA.  She was a saleswoman for many years with B & S Shoes in Drexel Hill, until they closed. 

Dot was a born again Christian, who was devoted to the Lord.  She was an active member of Garden City Chapel, where she sang in the choir. Dot loved to sing, especially hymns. Dot enjoyed to travel and watch Sci-Fi movies. She would often be found spending time in her garden.  Most of all, Dot cherished spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Daughter of the late Alfred V. and Betty (Shuey) Weyhmuller, Jr., Wife of the late Robert J. Weaver Jr., Sister of the late Mary McVaugh and Bud Weyhmuller.

Survivors:

Sons: Robert J. Weaver, III (Linda) of Brookhaven, PA, and Paul J. Weaver of Boothwyn, PA.

Daughters: Charlene (Kurt) Schaefer of Swarthmore, PA, Michelle (Dan) Higgins of Middletown Twp., PA, Elizabeth Weaver (Michael Cosentino, Sr.)  of Brookhaven, PA, Dorothy (Jason) Litka of Exton, PA.

Grandchildren: Michael Cosentino, Jr., Lindsey Cavanaugh, Megan Higgins, Kayla Higgins, Alex Cosentino, Ben Schaefer, Audrey Litka, Alan Litka
