Obituary of Robert G. Gilfillan, III

Robert G. Gilfillan, III, 72, of Chadds Ford, PA and formerly of Swarthmore, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at Riddle Memorial Hospital in Media, PA following a long illness of diabetes, complicated by a Mersa staff infection and pneumonia. Bob was a 1957 graduate of Swarthmore High School and a 1961 Physics/Math major at Dickinson College. He spent most of his life in Delaware County and owned an electronics distributorship in the Lawrence Park Industrial Center in Broomall, PA. GilTech sold items for printed circuit board's assembly and repair. Later in life, he worked as a mortgage broker. In his spare time Bob enjoyed going to the eastern shore in Maryland and the Pocono's. SURVIVORS Wife: B. Anne Gilfillan of West Chester, PA Daughter: Kate (Gilfillan) Keith of Newtown Square, PA Son: Rob Gilfillan, IV of Malvern, PA Also survived by 5 Grandchildren: Sam, Jack and Lindsay Keith and Hadley and Cole Gilfillan.
