Obituary of Jemima Grace Wildrick

Jemima Grace (Sands) Wildrick, 96, of Aston, PA, died on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at home. Mrs. Wildrick was born December 6, 1916 in Harding, PA and had been a resident of Aston, PA for 52 years. Mrs. Wildrick was a former member of Upland Baptist Church. Jemima was a woman devoted to her home and family. She enjoyed her home, working in the garden, canning and sewing. Most of all, she loved her family and the times they spent together. Mrs. Wildrick and her late husband loved traveling throughout the US and also in Europe, especially Italy and Germany. Jemima enjoyed watching the Phillies and was a devoted fan. She was a retired member of the Aston Beechwood Fire Company and a member of the Women of the Moose, Aston, PA. Beloved wife of 72 years to the late Myron A. Wildrick, Sr. who died in 2008, and mother of the late Robert Sands, who died in 2007. SURVIVORS Daughters: Lorraine McGuirk of Folsom, PA and Sandra (Lewis) Byrne of Aston, PA Son: Myron (Gladys) Wildrick, Jr. of Wilmington, DE Ten Grandchildren Seventeen Great-Grandchildren One Great-Great Grandson Brothers: Corey & Nathan Sands.
