Obituary of William H. Smith
William "Bill" H. Smith, 78, of Swedesboro, NJ, and formerly of West Chester and Wallingford, PA, went home to be with his Savior on Sunday, February 10, 2013. Bill was born and raised in Chester, PA. He was a graduate of Chester High School, Penn State University and the recipient of a business certificate from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business.
Bill and his wife were the owners of Hydra Techniques, Inc., where he worked as a Design Engineer. Formerly, he worked for Scott Paper and Acme Markets.
Bill was a long time member of Grace Bible Fellowship, Wallingford, PA. Bill was a devoted Christian who faithfully served his Lord. He was involved with Promise Keepers Men's Ministry and volunteered with SCI, Chester, teaching others about Christ for fourteen years. Bill enjoyed learning about the Civil War and was writing a book on the ships involved with the war and he enjoyed visiting and collecting lighthouses.
Bill was a devoted husband, father, step-father and grandfather, who most of all loved spending time with his family.
