Obituary of Howard J. Deitz

Howard J. Deitz, Jr." Bud", age 86, of West Chester, PA, died Saturday, March 30, 2013, at home, surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Deitz was born in Philadelphia, PA, and had been a resident of Ridley Park, PA, before moving to West Chester, PA, 35 years ago. Mr. Deitz worked with Gulf Oil Company, Philadelphia, PA, as a Unit Supervisor for over 30 years, until his retirement in 1984. Bud was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother, who most of all, enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a jack-of-all-trades and worked hard and played hard. He loved the water and was an enthusiastic boater. Husband of the late Helen Marko Deitz, who died in 1990; brother of the late June Fedena. SURVIVORS Daughters: Sharon (Jerry) Deitz-Doyle, Diana (Rob) Bettin, Deborah (Kurt) Haegele, and Helen (Bill) Bolton Sons: Howard J. (Maria) Deitz, III and Mark (Pete) Deitz Sister: Dorothy Gorbey Brother: Edward (Gerry) Deitz Sister-in-law, Brother-in-Law and good friends: Frank & Mary Lawley.
