Obituary of Edward Kertis

Edward Kertis, age 81, of Lima Estates and formerly of Thornton, PA, died Wednesday, May 1, 2013. Mr. Kertis was a 1950 graduate of Chester High School and a graduate of Pierce Junior College. He worked for Sun Oil for over 40 years, as a Systems Analyst, until his retirement in 1991. Edward was a member of St Timothy's Lutheran Church, Aston, PA. He was a 50 year member of Chester Masonic Lodge #236 F&AM. Edward was a passionate gardener and enjoyed traveling. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who most of all, cherished spending time with his family. Edward was the father of the late Joseph W. Kertis and Michael E. Kertis; grandfather of the late Zachary Kertis.
