Obituary of Sara M. McGuire

Sara M. (nee Mills) McGuire, 85, of Glen Mills and formerly of Parkside, PA. Died December 24, 2010 at Riddle Memorial Hospital. Born in Chester, she had been a resident of Parkside for 50 years , before moving to Glen Mills, 9 years ago. Graduate of Chester High School, Class of 1943. Sara was a Bookkeeper for Medford Meat Packing, Chester, retiring in 1991. Sara was devoted to her home and family; she especially enjoyed her grandchildren. She loved taking big trips as well as her yearly trip to Florida with her cousin. She also loved the beach and going to Stone Harbor. In her earlier years she was very active with the New Century Club, involving her children on some trips and activities as well. Wife of the late Benjamin McGuire who died in 1975. SURVIVORS : Sons: Richard E. (Linda) McGuire of West Chester, PA, and Steven R. (Donna) McGuire of North Carolina. Daughter: Nancy E. (Jerry) Brosius of Camp Hill, PA.
