Obituary of Viola E. Wilkinson

Vi (Kozak) Wilkinson, age 88, Vi passed away Thursday morning, October 10, 2013. Vi was born and raised by a loving family, in the small town of Claysburg, PA. After high school, Vi moved to Chester, PA with a friend to work at Sun Ship, where jobs were plentiful due to WWII. There, in the same apartment building where Vi lived, she met the love of her life and future husband, Bill Wilkinson. They were married 52 years when Bill passed away in 2001. Vi was a resident of Delaware County for 70 years. Throughout her life, Vi enjoyed spending lots of time with family, traveling and making frequent trips to the casino. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Vi loved life, and didn't waste a minute of it. She had a way of making just about everyone in her presence feel good. She was loved by many, and will be remembered for her kind and generous spirit. Predeceased by her husband, Bill Wilkinson, Sr, and son Bill Wilkinson, Jr. SURVIVORS A daughter who adored her, Barbara Wilkinson Sykes Three loving grandchildren she cherished, Jerry Crowley, Gabriel Crowley and Alexandra Wilkinson-Duda Memorial Contributions may be given in memory of Vi Wilkinson to the Delaware County S.P.C.A., 555 Sandy Bank Road, Media, PA 19063.
