Poppy was the best grandfather a kid could have & great-grandfather my children could have. He was always so happy & loved everyone no matter what. He had a big heart that was always so full of love. He always made sure everyone else was taken care of before himself. I have a lot of great memories with my grandfather & he will always be carried in my heart. I know he is truly in a better place.

With you we laughed, we cried, we felt protected and safe. You loved us with all your heart as we did you. I so very lucky to have you for a dad. I will miss your smile and when calling always coming out to say "tell her I love her" when mom was on with us. I know you are now in good hands but I somehow thought you would be hear with us forever. You would always beat the odds and I guess that is why this is so hard I thought you would this time to. You will be missed each and everyday but always be in my heart. I love you.
