Dear Eileen,
I miss you so much already. I wanted to call you today to ask you a question as you always had an answer to all my queries whether "What should I do for this ailment?" or "Where can I buy homemade lasagna?" Your fun loving spirit and loving actions I will remember and hold close to my heart forever..
Your niece,
Nancy
Aunt Eileen was a shining star who cared for everyone throughout her life. She loved much, laughed often and lived her life fully. She will be greatly missed by all who were lucky enough to know her. Our love and prayers go out to Uncle Joe, Steve, Jerry, Larry, Colin and families.
Mrs. Mercadante has been a part of our lives for almost 25 years. So many memories....so many fun times....so many laughs...so many moments when you knew you were seeing a glimpse of God when you saw her. Thank you for the gift of you. You fought a brave fight and now you have earned your heavenly reward. We love you and will miss you dearly. To Mr. Mercadante and the entire Mercadante family, our deepest sympathy in your loss.
We would like extend our deepest sympathy to the Mercadante family. Mrs. Mercadante was always a joy to see and spend time with when we visited Pennsylvania. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. She will be greatly missed.
Love,
The St.Louis Costa's
My dearest Eileen: How can i write in just a few brief words what a wonderful person you were in every aspect of your life/our lives. You were amazing raising a large family while working so many hours away from the home. How did you do that? You were a blast to share a drink with as we both laughed ourselves to tears! Most of all, I truly appreciate that, even thought i came into your life, your family thru marriage, you always accepted me as 'your own' and I will always remember you for loving me like that. I love you and will miss you so much. Debbie
I remember Aunt Eileen from the time I was a baby. She was always loving and full of fun. And she was always a nurse for anyone in the family who got sick. I will miss her more than I can ever say.
I feel as if I knew Eileen quite well becauae her devoted and loving neice Nancy Conway Loefflholz spoke so often and so kindly about her aunt...she was like a mother to her and likewise Nancy felt the same...Her valiant fight is over and now she is at peace...May you all find comfort that she is now at peace..
May god bless, aunt eileen, you were an angel....on earth...we will miss you and smile of fond memories gone by.....
Dear Eileen: You were like a sister to me - always there, happy, friendly, knowing and always helpful. Our trips were always great and your visits to my place in Florida always gave us lots of pleasure. The many memories are priceless! I was happy to be able to visit with you during the recent Christmas. You won the pinochle game: we had fun. Love, Rosemary
I worked with "Merc" at Wallingford 35yrs ago when I started till she left. She was my supervisor and friend. She taught us all a lot. She is also the reason I became a nurse. I will always remember her with great respect and great memories. My prayers are with your family.
I always called Eileen "Merc"when I worked with her at Wallingford. She was a mentor to me as I struggled through nursing school. She taught me so much and was a friend as well as my Charge Nurse. She taught my sister Debbie to be a great nurse aide at Wallingford also. Merc was fun, kind and a great nurse who I will always remember and miss. She touched the lives of everyone she met. I would not be a nurse today without her support. Thinking of Joe and her boys at this time. Carol Scott

Our mother and our children's MomMom was a wonderful woman who would always lend her help, advice, support, and time to all in the family. She was selfless, kind, generous, had a terrific sense of humor, and a contagious laugh that would make us all smile. She was a loving grandmother, generous with her time, always most happy when she was with her family. She will be missed by all who knew her. Mom was brave during her illness and her courage inspired us all. Our sympathy goes to our dad, Joe, her children and grandchildren, and nieces. We will love her forever. God bless you Mom and MomMom.
