Obituary of George W. Irwin, Jr.

George W. Irwin, Jr., age 71, of Media, PA, died February 3, 2014 at Riddle Memorial Hospital, Media, PA. Mr. Irwin was born July 26, 1942 in Philadelphia, PA. He was the son of the late George W. and Elizabeth (Chestnut) Irwin. George proudly served as a U. S. Army Veteran. Mr. Irwin was employed as an Equipment Technician for a local School Photography Studio, for more than 30 years. He retired in 2009 from Bryn Mawr Rehabilitation Hospital, Malvern, PA, where he was employed in housekeeping, for 6 years. George was very passionate about running, horse racing, and reading, especially books on political issues and current events. Survivors: Beloved Wife of 38 years, Laura J.
