Obituary of Lawrence E. Weigand
Lawrence E. "Pop" Weigand, Sr., age 85, of Aston, PA and formerly of Chester, PA, died Friday, March 21, 2014. Larry was born January 30, 1929 in Ridley Park, PA. He had been a longtime resident of Highland Gardens, Chester, PA, before moving to Aston, PA and finally residing at Fair Acres, Lima, PA.
Larry was a veteran of the Navy Reserves. He worked with Scott Paper Company (now Kimberly Clark), Chester, PA, until his retirement.
Larry was affiliated with numerous fire companies and served as the Delaware County Fire Police Commissioner. He also served as Cub Scout Master and Asst. Scout Master of Troop 289.
Larry was predeceased by his parents, a brother, 2 half-sisters, a step-sister and a step-brother.

Wife: Elizabeth "Betty" (nee McKay) Weigand, sharing marriage since August 26, 1950.
