Obituary of Fran Taylor

Frances "Fran" E. (nee Cooper) Taylor, age 75, of Maris Grove, Glen Mills, PA, passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2014, after a four year battle with cancer. She was born in Darby, PA, to the late Frank M. and Ora (Widdoes) Cooper. Fran was a lifetime resident of Delaware County, residing in Sharon Hill, PA for forty years, before residing in Middletown Twp., PA for thirty-two years, then moving to Maris Grove in 2011. Fran was a 1957 graduate of Sharon Hill High School. She was a dance teacher and taught tap, toe, ballet and acrobatics to young people from a studio in Ridley Twp., PA, for many years. She especially enjoyed the annual summer trip with the young ladies when they performed on Steel Pier in Atlantic City, NJ. Fran was a member of Media Presbyterian Church, where she served as an Elder and Deacon. She was also active in a women's circle; a highlight of her life was the love, friendship, support and fellowship that came from the Bible Study Group that has been meeting for more than twenty-five years.
