Obituary of Mary Roman

Mary Roman, age 88, of Glen Riddle, PA and formerly of Mayfield, PA, died Wednesday, April 16, 2014. Mrs. Roman was born in Carbondale, PA, and was a graduate of Ben Franklin High School, Carbondale, PA. Mrs. Roman worked with Globe Fashion Shop, Carbondale, PA, as a credit manager and PNC Bank, Carbondale, PA, in the Accounts Payable Debit Department, until her retirement in 2002. She also was the owner and operator of Roman Dance Studio, Carbondale, PA, for 25 years. Mrs. Roman was an active member of St. John Chrysostom Church, Wallingford, PA. A creative person, Mary was active with needle crafts and enjoyed sharing her knowledge and skill with others. Mary was devoted to her family and home and most of all, cherished spending time with them. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Anthony M. Roman, who died in 1976.
