Obituary of Richard James Highfield

Richard "Rich" James Highfield, 53, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday afternoon, April 23, 2014. Richard was a loving husband, amazing father and the world's best pop-pop. A professional painter for most of his life, Richard took pride in his work and strived for perfection. He enjoyed watching sports and NASCAR, sitting in his chair surrounded by his pets. He was a push over for animals, helping any in need that crossed his path. He cherished time with his grand-kids, who could light up his face and make him smile from ear to ear. They were glued to his side whenever they spent time together. Richard was taken far too soon, and will be deeply missed by all, who were fortunate enough to know him.
