Obituary of Barbara A. Zabilowicz

Barbara A. Zabilowicz, age 79, of Parkside, PA, died surrounded by her family on Monday, July 7, 2014, after being ill for a number of years. Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA; she moved to Delaware County when she married Edwin Zabilowicz, 57 years ago. Barbara worked with Minutella's Florist for 25 years, before retiring several years ago. Barbara enjoyed cooking for her family, particularly Polish dishes. She loved having family gatherings for the holidays and special events. Most of all, she loved her family. Barbara was devoted to Padre Pio, and always called on him for special help. Barbara was predeceased by her parents, Maurice and Stefania (Luckow) Michalowski; husband, Edwin J. Zabilowicz, May 2003; son, Michael J. Zabilowicz, December 2003; a sister, Irene Byrne; brother, Edward Miller SURVIVORS: Beloved loving dog, Amy Children: James Miller, Irene "Dee" Gogatz (Steve) and Constance Howat Grandchildren: Sandy McCulley (Ed), Rachel Fecanin (Tom), Christopher George (Jill), Ryan George (Tracy), Megan and Jamie Zabilowicz Great-Grandchildren: Edwin, Joseph and Taylor McCulley, Matthew and Jacob Fecanin, Justin Michael Porter, Chayce Walter Patro, David George and Carter George, who was born in June and another great-grandchild due later this month.
