Obituary of Robert J. Lawrence

Robert Jay Lawrence 9/20/1923 to 7/15/2014 Robert (Bob) Lawrence, a WWII Navy Veteran, died in his sleep at the age of 90, on Tuesday, July 15, 2014. Bob served in the Navy obtaining the rank of ETM3C on the USS Bougainville (CVE 100). He was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, receiving a BS Degree in Electrical Engineering. Bob worked with Westinghouse for almost 40 years, before retiring in 1982. Bob and Gwen were happily married for 70 years, and resided in Upper Providence Township, Media, PA They were life-long Lutherans, and were active members of Reformation Lutheran Church.
