Obituary of Nicholas Biddle

Nicholas Biddle, III, "Nick" age 70, of Glen Mills, PA, died Friday, September 5, 2014, at The Hospital of The University Of Pennsylvania. He was born on May 21, 1944, in Bryn Mawr, PA. Mr. Biddle was a 1963 graduate of the Episcopal Academy, and a graduate of the Pennsylvania Military College. He was a Sr. Supervising Engineer/Physics Lab., working with E.I. duPont Company, Wilmington, DE. Mr. Biddle was a Veteran of the US Army during the Vietnam era, serving in Germany. Nick was a member of Mount Hope United Methodist Church and Concord Liberty Presbyterian Church. He also was a member of the Appalachian Mountain Club, Delaware Valley Golden Retriever Rescue, Rails to Trails, the Episcopal Academy Alumni and Geocaching. He was the son of the late Nicholas Biddle, Jr. SURVIVORS Wife of 41 years, Linda Erle Biddle Daughters, Lauren Biddle Plummer (David B.) and Anne Sarah Biddle Grandchildren, Twins Evan and Norah Plummer Mother, Mary "Polly" (Hopkins) Biddle Sisters, Charlotte H. Biddle, his twin Elaine B. Whitman (Bradford F.) and Lydia B.
