Obituary of Andrew J. Kiszka
Andrew Joseph Kiszka, Jr., "Andy" age 93, died Saturday, September 13, 2014. Andy was born July 26, 1921, in Albany, New York, where he lived for 43 years. Andy was a devout member of the catholic church at every parish he resided in, including St. Mary's in Hampton Manor, NY, St. Lawrence in Upper Darby, PA, Our Lady of Mercy in Port Chester, NY, St. John Chrysostom in Wallingford, PA, and St. Cornelius in Glen Mills, PA. While at St. Johns, Andy led the St. Vincent DePaul Society, he contributed to numerous charitable causes, including St. Joseph's in the Hills men's retreat in Malvern, PA, the Bernadine Center in Chester, PA, and many others.
In 1986, Andy retired as President of the internationally recognized fine men's clothier, F.R. Tripler & Co. (Hart Schaffner & Marx) of New York City. He had and eye for fashion and frequently traveled to Europe to manage buying decisions for Tripler's. He started his career at Walsh's in Albany, NY and in 1962, relocated to Philadelphia, PA, to take a position at Jacob Reed's Sons. He was promoted over his 11 years at Jacob Reed's and was appointed Executive Vice President, prior to his promotion to President of F. R. Tripler.
Andy took great pride in being a well-dressed man, and his quiet, loving demeanor set him apart as a true gentleman.
Andy is predeceased by his wife of 67 years, Geraldine (Pagano), and his son John Kiszka. Brother of the late Joseph and Francis Kiszka.

Children: Gerald (Debra), Joanne Crouthamel (Bill), Mary O'Connor (Mike), Jean Hall (Ron), Andrew III (Jamie), Diane Nyhus (Mike), James (Jan), and Robert (Bonnie).
