Obituary of Ralph J. Rosa
Ralph J. Rosa, age 90, of Media, PA, died Sunday, September 14, 2014, at Riddle Memorial Hospital. Mr. Rosa was born in South Philadelphia, PA, and had been a resident of Broomall, PA, and Myrtle Beach, SC, before moving to Media, PA, 20 years ago.
Mr. Rosa was a graduate of South Philadelphia High School, and he served in the Navy during World War II. He was the recipient of the Asiatic Pacific Area Campaign Medal - 6 Stars, American Area Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal and the Philippine Liberation Medal - 2 Stars. Mr. Rosa was employed with The Gould-Brown Boveri Company, Chalfont, PA, until his retirement.
Mr. Rosa was a parishioner of The Church of Nativity BVM, Media, PA. He was a member of the American Legion Post #925, Philadelphia, PA and the Men of Malvern. Ralph enjoyed gardening, bowling, the Phillies and Eagles. Ralph especially treasured his family, and the long term relationship with his friends from South Philadelphia.

Daughters: Joann Lajeunesse of Saratoga Springs, NY and Judy O'Donnell (Jack) of Haddonfield, NJ
Grandchildren: Jessica (Greg), Kelly (Anthony) Megan (Darren), Erin, Colleen and Maureen.
Great-Grandchildren: Sophie, Chloe and Cora
Sister: Camille "Dolly" Ricciardi of Drexel Hill, PA
Brothers: Carl Rosa of Springfield, PA and Carmen Rosa of Egg Harbor Twp., NJ
