Obituary of John E. Wilson

John E. Wilson, age 91, a life-long resident of Glen Riddle, PA, died peacefully at home, Tuesday, November 4, 2014. John was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army. He served during World War II in France with the 28th Division, 100th Infantry and the 398th Infantry. He retired in 1981 from the U.S. Post Office with thirty years of service. John was a parishioner of the Church of Nativity BVM, Media, PA. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the American Legion and VFW. John loved dogs, especially Molly. He enjoyed trips to Lancaster County, PA, decoy carving and country music. John was predeceased by his first wife, the late Jane (nee Grant) Wilson, and his son, the late Mark Wilson.
