Obituary of George J. Bucci
George J. Bucci, Sr., age 90, a longtime resident of Aston, died Saturday, February 5, 2011. George was born in Philadelphia, raised in Drexel Hill, and attended Upper Darby School District.
He was a Master Plumber for 18 years. George was also employed at the Department of Transportation for 26 years and retired in 1982.
Mr. Bucci was an Army Veteran of WWII, who was honored with the good conduct medal, WWII Victory Medal, American Campaign Medal and Honorable Service Button.
George was a former member of the Knights of Columbus Council #4291, Marcus Hook.
George was a longtime parishioner of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Aston. He was an avid Phillies fan.
He was the son of the late Phillip R. and Sonya Bucci and the husband of the late Virginia Bucci who died in 2001.

2 SONS: George Bucci, Jr. (Denise) and Mark Bucci (Debra)
10 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren
