Kay was a wonderfully reliable person. From my early and later days at Parkside Church, I remember Kay as always energetic and fast-moving. She was always a great help in church work, and I can remember her baking desserts for the church dinners up until then close of the church. Kay was a good friend to my family, especially my Mother. She now joins all the other retired saints in heaven. I know she is at peace.

My heartfelt sympathies to her family. It seems like yesterday that we all celebrated her birthday with a special reception at the church. I am glad to have known such a wonderful person.

So sorry for your loss of this lovely, gentle woman. When I first began attending PUMC, she was one of the first people to welcome me and my family. When I organized the neighborhood Halloween Haunting for our children in the neighborhood schools, she stepped right up to volunteer in the kitchen for help with the food service. She truly cared about everyone and I will miss her. God bless you and comfort you .
