Obituary of Jean M Werntz

Jean M. (Nee Gallagher) Werntz, age 85, a resident of Brookhaven, PA, where she resided with her daughter for 11 years, formerly of Chester, PA, died Friday, April 17, 2015. Jean was born January 2, 1930, in Hazleton, PA. She was a graduate of Hazleton High School. Jean was employed with Crozer Chester Medical Center, as the first Darkroom Technician, for 24 years, until retiring in 1991. Jean was a lover of animals, but most of all, cherished spending time with her grandchildren and great granddaughters. She was the daughter of the late Manus and Ellen (Hampel) Gallagher; sister of the late Manus, Robert and Ellen Gallagher, and Margaret Clayton. Survivors: Daughter: Linda Hinkelman (Bill) Son: Dennis Gliem (Louise) Sisters: Marion Nye, Patricia Gallagher, and Kathleen May (Larry) Brother: Brian Gallagher (Barbara) 4 grandchildren 2 great granddaughters Funeral Service: Wednesday 11:00 AM, at St. Timothy's Lutheran Church, 535 Lamp Post Lane, Aston, PA 19014 Visitation: Wednesday 10:00 AM, at the church.
