Obituary of Doris Elizabeth Johnson-Kendig

Doris "Betty" Johnson-Kendig, age 90, of Media, PA, formerly of Woodlyn, PA, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family, Tuesday, April 21, 2015. Betty was a member of several senior citizen groups, and was an avid pinochle player. She was on bowling leagues and enjoyed gardening and puzzles. Most of all, Betty cherished spending time with her family. She was the daughter of the late William and Florence (Lottman) Elliott; wife of the late Corporal James I. Johnson, who died in World War II; and the late William Kendig, who died in 1981; sister of the late Bill Elliott, Florence Buckalew, Charlotte Clineff, and Peg Jones; grandmother of the late James R. Johnson. Survivors: Sons: James R. Johnson (Marylou) and Don N. Kendig (Karen) Daughters: Sharon E. Marino (the late Joseph) and Janis M.
