Obituary of Joanne Minutella Florio

Joanne (nee Minutella) Florio, 74, of Garnet Valley, Concord Twp., PA and formerly of Wallingford, PA, died Sunday, February 20, 2011 at Crozer-Chester Medical Center. Joanne was born in Chester, PA, and was the daughter of the late John A., Sr. and Anne Tancredi Minutella. She had been a resident of Wallingford for 30 years, before moving to Garnet Valley, 7 years ago. Mrs. Florio was a graduate of Notre Dame High School in Moylan, PA, Class of 1954. She was a florist and the owner of Minutella's Florist, a family business started by her parents over 65 years ago. Joanne was a member of the Church of St. Thomas the Apostle, Glen Mills, PA and a past member of the Church of St. John Chrysostom, Wallingford, PA. A kind and caring woman, she was devoted to her family and her flower shop. She also enjoyed her home in Ventnor, New Jersey, sharing many special times there with her family and friends. Florio of Aston, PA Daughters: Annmarie (John) Hill of Mt Laurel, NJ, and Michelle Florio of Wallingford, PA Brother: Dr. John "Jack" A. Minutella of Naples, Florida Grandchildren: Stephanie Flamini, Alexandra Hill, Michael and Melanie Florio.
