Obituary of Ann Glasgow Peterson
Ann Glasgow Peterson, age 82, of Media, died Sunday, February 27, 2011, at Sunrise Assisted Living at Granite Run. Mrs. Peterson was born on August 18, 1928 in Glasgow, PA, to the late Luther Clay and Agnes Flora (Sheads) Glasgow. She resided in Port Arthur, TX, Gettysburg, PA and Sharon Hill, where she graduated from Sharon Hill High School, and was the Class Salutatorian. Ann graduated from Beaver College in Glenside, with a Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, in 1951. Louis Kahn recognized and awarded her design project.
Ann was married for 39 years to the late Charles L. Peterson, and resided in Middletown Twp., for the last 57 years. Mrs. Peterson was actively involved with her daughter's business, The Parkside Academy of Music and Dance. As a collegian, Ann traveled to England and traveled extensively with her family throughout the United States and the British Isles. Ann enjoyed summer vacations in Cape May, New Jersey. Most of all, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Devoted Children: Daughter, Pamela Peterson Dimeler and her husband, Scott; Son, Marc L. Peterson, Esq. and his wife, Kathleen; Beloved grandchildren: Kira Ann Dimeler, Crystal Marie Dimeler and Elspeth Mavourneen Peterson and many friends.
