Obituary of Calvin Wright Jones

1930-2015 Calvin Wright Jones, age 85, of Townsend, DE, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 28, 2015. Calvin was born and raised in Brookhaven, PA, and lived in Chester, PA, and Rutledge, PA, before settling down at his beloved ranch home in Townsend, DE. After a year in seminary at Kings College, New York and a few months at sea with the Merchant Marine on Sun Oil tankers, Cal took advantage of his people skills and built a successful life insurance business selling door-to-door on the streets of Chester, PA, for more than 50 years. Cal enjoyed boating and fishing on the Delaware Bay and Atlantic Ocean. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors: Loving wife of 65 years: Anna Six children: Donna, Daron, Dennis, David, Diane, & Dawn Brother: Robert Jones Sister: Beverly Houser 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and his two little dogs, Mandy and Missy.
