Obituary of Evelyn D. Westland

Evelyn D. Kennedy Westland, “Obbs” age 91, of Upland, PA, died Monday, November 30, 2015, at home. She was born and raised in Chester, PA, and was a graduate of Chester High School. Mrs. Westland was employed with Ship 'n Shore for many years, until retiring. Obbs enjoyed the casinos, playing bingo, shopping and trips to Tom Jones Restaurant. Most of all, she was devoted to her family. She was the daughter of the late Samuel and Grace (Gibbs) Kennedy; wife of the late Samuel Westland, who died in 1998; great-grandmother of the late Charlie Murray and also predeceased by 8 sisters and 2 brothers. Survivors: 3 Loving Daughters: Judy (Robert) Long, Peggy (the late Marty) Banks and Dodie (Chip) Covey 10 Grandchildren and 16 Great-Grandchildren Also survived by nieces and nephew Funeral Service: Friday at 11:00AM at Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp.
