Obituary of Joan Elizabeth Steward

Joan Elizabeth Suter Steward, age 73, a 51 year resident of Aston, PA, died Wednesday, December 2, 2015, at home surrounded by her loving family. Joan was a graduate of Media High School. Mrs. Steward retired from Teledyne-Werz Company. Joan was a spontaneous traveler; she visited Nashville, TN, many times and enjoyed shopping in Lancaster, PA. Joan loved listening to country music and was mesmerized with the beauty of butterflies. Most of all, Joan was devoted to spending time with her family. Daughter of the late Burton and Helen Walters Suter, Sr.; sister of the late Burton Suter, Jr. and Susan Jamison. Survivors: Husband of 53 years: John C. Steward, Sr. Son: John C. Steward, Jr. (Maryann) Daughters: Debbie McKay (Bill Cole) and Denise Houpt (Steve) Brothers: Lee Suter (the late Mickey) and Bobby Suter (Patty) Grandchildren: Andrea, Christopher, Jessica, Amybeth, Bradley and Jacob Great-Grandchildren: Kayden, Brayden and Adrian John Sister-in-law: Elsie May Cimabue Also survived by nieces, nephews and special grandchildren, Doug and Nick Her beloved cat, Bear Memorial Service: Saturday, December 12th at 11:30AM at Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063.
