Obituary of Robert F. DelPrato

Robert F. "Bob" DelPrato, age 74, of Media, PA, formerly of Drexel Hill, PA, died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, December 5, 2015. Bob was a 1959 graduate of St. Thomas More High School and a 1975 graduate of St. Joseph's University. Mr. DelPrato was a Veteran of the US Army. Bob was employed for more than 30 years at the Philadelphia Navy Yard. Bob enjoyed boating, fishing and overall being one with nature. He was an avid Eagles fan. Bob was devoted to his family, especially his grandchildren, and was affectionately known as Poppy. Son of the late Dominic DelPrato and brother of the late Joseph DelPrato Survivors: Wife of 46 years: Peggy Reese DelPrato Sons: Michael (Anna) and Paul (Anjali) DelPrato Grandsons: Zachary and Jacob Mother: Helen Di'Emidio DelPrato Brothers: Stephen (Geraldine), Thomas, and Gerard (Laurie) DelPrato Sister-in-law: Sue Ann DelPrato Also survived by nieces and nephews Funeral Mass: Thursday at 11:00AM at the Church of Our Lady of Charity, 231 Upland Rd, Brookhaven, PA 19015 Visitation: Thursday after 9:45AM at the church.
