Obituary of Janice E. Burke

Janice E. (Woehrle) Burke, age 81, of Brookhaven, PA, died suddenly on Friday, December 25, 2015. Janice was a 1952 graduate of Scranton Technical High School. She was employed with Scott Paper and Life Guidance Services, retiring in 1996. Janice was an active member of Parkside United Methodist Church and Christ United Methodist Church and was involved with the United Methodist Women's Group. She was an avid crafter and enjoyed baking, but most of all, cherished her grandchildren Katie and Sean. Wife of the late John Burke, who died in 1995 and sister of the late Richard 'Dick" Woehrle She is survived by her devoted son and daughter-in law; Daniel and Joyce Burke, with whom she resided for the last 10 years.
