Obituary of Elaine Stewart

Elaine Pilallis Stewart, age 87, of Swarthmorewood, PA, died Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at home. Elaine retired in 1993 from State Farm Insurance Company, Concordville, PA, where she worked as a Senior Communications Operator for 18 years. Formerly, Elaine worked for Bell Telephone and General Electric, Philadelphia, PA. Elaine enjoyed the monthly luncheons with State Farm Retirees Club. Elaine enjoyed her home and family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Wife of 53 years to the late Mareen "Stu" D. Stewart, Jr., Sister of the late Anna Pearce, George and John Pilallis; mother-in-law of the late Joseph P. Johnston, Jr. Survivors: Son: Theodore (Joy) P. Stewart Daughters: Maureen (Jim) Skay and Elaine Johnston Sister: Joan Seal Grandchildren: Scott Stewart, Michael Skay, Lauren Devinney, Elaine Turzio, Jennifer Jensen and Elizabeth Johnston 9 Great-Grandchildren Funeral Service: Tuesday at 11:00 AM, at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Ltd., Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Roads, Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063.
