Obituary of Thomas M. Giblin, Jr.
Thomas M. "Tom" Giblin, Jr., age 72 passed away suddenly at home in Aston, PA on January 8, 2016. Tom was a graduate of Monsignor Bonner High School in Upper Darby, PA. Following his graduation, he served in the U.S. Navy. Tom spent most of his professional career at the Philadelphia Navy Yard working as a Planner Estimator.
Tom was a fun loving, energetic person who lived life to its fullest. He was an avid golfer and played with PNSY League, Linkster League and Golfs ccc. His passion for the sport took him to some of the most beautiful and challenging courses. In his relentless pursuit to better his game, he achieved an unbelievable 3 hole-in-ones. Tom enjoyed his retirement traveling with his long time companion and best friend, Anne, for lengthy stays to warm destinations such as St. Croix and Bermuda. He (a.k.a.T.J. O'Neal) recently discovered his love for the stage and became an aspiring actor. He was cast in several short movies, TV and commercials. Tom found time to play pool competitively in the Millennium League for several years where long-term friendships were made. Tom was a funny, loving person with an extraordinary sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. He brought out the best in everyone and will be greatly missed by his many friends and family.
Tom was the son of the late Thomas M. and Margaret (Hayward) Giblin, Sr.

Sons: Thomas Garth (Trish) Giblin and Bob (Michelle) Wallace
Also survived by 4 grandchildren and loving companion, Anne Okon
A celebration of his life will gather for a luncheon at 12:00 Noon to 3:00 PM on Tuesday, January 19, 2016, at the Springfield Country Club, 400 West Sproul Road, Springfield, PA 19064.
